Comic making technology has largely gone digital since Neil Gaiman's Sandman series was published (1989-1996). The most recent collected reprints in the series have been digitally re-colored for reasons unclear. Although the differences are generally subtle, there are some puzzling ones. Here are some examples from Issue 8. Can anyone shed some light on this? Was some of this accidental?
